‘Pomegranate’ yarrow

Achillea millefolium 'Pomegranate'

Spreading, upright yarrow noted for its brilliant magenta flowers, ferny foliage, compact size, and vigorous growth habit. A naturally-occurring cultivar discovered in 2003 growing within a population of Achillea millefolium ‘Summer Pastels’. Flowers appear in dense, flattened compound flower 2-4” across over an extended period on stems 18-24” tall. Flower color holds well as flowers mature. Medium green foliage has a spicy aroma.
